Plant Form: Long glossy green sword-shaped leaves which have rough margins and a soft tip. This plant has a rosette growth habit similar to many Dracaena plants and is produced as small sized plants in 4 to 8,' containers with foliage to the soil' Ii ne. Larger plants grown in 8 to 16" containers have a woody trunk with a terminal rosette of foliage.

Utilization: Interior specimens are often limited to plants up to 10 feet tall, but in their native habit, this plant will grow upwards of 45 feet tall. Used as single specimen plants.

Culture: This is a high light plant and requires a minimum of 250 to 500 foot candles of light. At lower light levels the leaves become droopy and light green and the internodes between leaves elongate. Temperatures of 60 to 68 degrees F are suggested, but this plant will tolerate temperatures as low as 50 degrees F. A well drained growing medium should be used and permitted to dry slightly between watering.
